New Jersey Transit's Comet Ib cars were built using spare Arrow III shells for a carbody, and as a result are similar in appearance to the Arrow III MUs. The most notable difference between a Comet Ib and an Arrow III (other than the pantographs or lack thereof) is that Comet Ib cars lack the center door of the Arrow IIIs. They are sometimes referred to as "Comarrows."
