The Hoboken Manufacturer's Railroad (later Hoboken Shore) rostered two GE/Ingersoll-Rand boxcab diesel locomotives: #500, a 300hp unit, and #600, a 600hp unit. These units were built by GE after terminating their their reliance on ALCO for mechanical components.

Road # Built Notes Disposition
500 Delivered December 31, 1928. This was the first GE/I-R 300 Horsepower unit completed. Only one roof mounted GE CD65 type fan and Sturtenant Multivane radiator assembly was installed. Weight 70 tons. GE builders #10704.
600 Delivered December 31, 1928. This was the first GE/I-R 600 Horsepower unit completed. Weight 108 tons. GE builders #10705.
